Camping is fun!

We went camping in Escalante State Park, where I enjoyed the tents, my own sleeping bag, and the chilly lake which I named “salt lake.” We hiked to see the petrified trees and also hiked to calf creek falls. I loved splashing in the puddles at the falls. We went to Capitol Reef on our way home, but it was too windy for much hiking, so we enjoyed the drive and found some petroglyphs.

Thomas the Train

On Memorial Day weekend we drove through the blizzard in Parley's canyon to take a ride on Thomas. It was lots of fun, compete with mini golf and a ride on our own personal "train."

May Flowers bring June showers.

In May I was dedicated at the First Unitarian Church, so I got my princess gear on. The dedication was very nice, and I behaved well though I wasn't at all sure what was going on.

Pete, Mama, and I did Strut your Mutt for CAWS, and daddy took pictures after. Aspen had to stay home because she doesn't play well with other dogs.

We went to Temple Square to see the tulips before we missed our chance. I thought the temple was a castle, and the nice Sister Missionary took a family picture in front of the temple that would greatly please my great grandparents.
